Benefits of Becoming a Teamsters Local 14 Member
One of the big reasons workers join a union is to ensure fair treatment in the workplace. As a union member, you have a collective voice regarding:
- pay & wages, union members earn more than 30% than non-union workers
- receive benefits including retirement plans, health insurance, vacation and sick leave, tuition reimbursement and more
- safe working conditions
- workplace health and safety
- balance work and family life
In addition, unions give workers like you a strong collective voice that makes a difference in local government policy. Unions represent workers in talks with lawmakers, reminding elected officials that working families hold the power to vote them into office.
